Foreigners started buying property in Turkey in 2003. Before 2003, only Germans used to buy a property in Alanya. After changing the reciprocity law for foreign home buyers, many foreigners have bought properties in Alanya.

 

Especially German, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish people have bought holiday homes in Alanya. Then follow Irish, English, Belgian, Dutch. Recently, Ukrainians and Russians have also bought or rented apartments in Alanya.
